LOON's Goal from the beginning has been to tell a story of the people and places of NorthWest Minnesota with an emphasis on our state bird, the Common Loon. This feature length film will make you think twice the next time you hear the eerie echo of a loon's call proliferate across an empty Minnesota lake when the sky grows dim. Watch with suspense and caution as the community of Loon Lake deals with a pandemic of killer loons.
Ask yourself: What if our beautiful state bird were to turn on us? What would make this peaceful bird attack?
About The Producers:

Kale Eickhof​
​
Director, co-writer, and co-producer, Kale is an experienced video editor working in Los Angelas CA, for Motortrend. Kale grew up in Crookston MN, and attended Sacred Heart High School in East Grand Forks before enrolling at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. Kale has always had a passion for artistic works, especially music videos, of which he has produced and edited many.
Charles Eickhof​
Lead actor, co-writer, and co-producer, Charles is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul MN, prior to higher education, Charles attended Crookston High School where he performed in a number of choral productions, as well as being a member of the Men's Golf & Hockey teams. A Crookston native, Charles enjoyed working on a project with the community impact Loon! invoked. Upon graduating, he now works in the death-care industry, serving those who've been fatally attacked by killer loons!
